Three New York-bred twentysomethings brings us a clothing label that whiffs of algebra, arcade games and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. With experimental pieces and flashes of colour, Pegleg NYC is certainly for the confident contemporary male who oozes confidence and charisma. Their clothing is exciting, very random and for the neo-Bohemians of today, inspired by the arty and alternative side of New York. A huge part of their work is based around colour blocking and is a step away from many of the graphic tees about at the moment, it is cheery, loud and boisterous – but successfully avoids coming across as arrogant or cocky. I guess it is the perfect combination of flamboyancy, fun and individuality.
