Last week saw the official release of Sixpack France’s SS10 collection, consisting of the Artist Series, Peyote Poem and Print Is Dead. As you would expect from Sixpack, their new threads contain contemporary and edgy graphic t-shirts, bold sweatshirts, and sophisticated, chic shirts. Sixpack routinely get their colours, designs and fit bang-on, and this season is no different, collaborating with an array of artists to produce an original, sharp collection.

Sixpack France’s SS10 collection was shot by French artist, Akroe.

Below, I have picked out my favourite pieces from their new collection.

These guys have been operating for little over ten years now and consistenly churn out thought-provoking, edgy stuff through their unique collaborations with global artistes. I look at Sixpack France in a similar way to Kitsune Maison, although Kitsune do much more on the music production side. But the essence is still the same… the feeling that their shop / HQ is a place for writers, DJs and fashion designers alike. It’s one of those brands that capitalises on sub-culture trends and thoughts, the romance of underground movements and activity – be it music, art or literature. But it is these sub-cultures that, today, reign supreme over us… and them.

One of my favourite blogs, Highsnobiety runs a really decent Sixpack France column that is well worth checking out.

I am eagerly anticipating the release of Sixpack France’s SS10 Collection. The trailer is available below and is titled Peyote Poem, taking ‘inspiration from the wild desert landscapes’. Here you go, enjoy…

There will definitely be more on this collection, as and when I hear about it.
